5 years no posts. I was trying to recollect what I have been doing all these years. What I have accomplished? List seems to be productive.
Failures are the stepping stones for success. Yes only if you learn from mistakes. My boutique business was doing pretty well. I could even pay salaries for two people. Where did I fail to manage? Time Management? People Management? Expectations ? External factors? May be everything combined. I would say, I did not take more risk. When many etailers like Flipkart, Amazon came in and accepted returns, I was not able to being a small vendor. Should I have taken risk ? I did not learn to identify the quality too. Buying and Selling through online, sometimes feel cheap on quality too. I was not able to kill my ethics.
What did I do after closing down my boutique ?
Following few Ayurveda and Siddha doctors in the various channels in the morning, made me analyse the nativity. Our lifestyle. Health. As like everyone, I too have ailments. The simple solutions given by the doctors helped me to overcome my ailments. In search of some of the plants and herbs they mentioned, I came across natural gardening. (NOT organic).
Gardening :
Today I have nearly 25 pots in my balcony. The list is long too. Curry Leaves, Turmeric, Bush Beans, Jasmine, Sangu Poo, Lemon, Pirandai, Drumstick, Onion, Garlic, Tomato, Brinjal, Chillies, Ivy Gourd, Aloevera, Betel Leaf, Rose, Nithaya kalyani, Henna, Garlic, Small Onion and Tulasi. The list keeps growing.
I am not a successful gardener yet. I keep trying to get best of it.
What Gardening taught me?
It takes days and months to grow a veggie, but it takes seconds to throw it off. Think twice before you throw your food. It taught me patience. Weeds grow faster than veggies. If you want to be useful you got to be slow and steady. If you grow fast, people will think you are weed, either they will pluck you out or destroy you.
